Rooftop:

Did you know that most autos can carry up to 165 pounds of gear on the roof?  Whether its skis, luggage, kayaks, bikes, fishing rods or canoes, you can carry it on top of your vehicle. If you want concealed and relatively water tight storage capacity add a luggage box to the roof.

Rear of car:

This is a great way to carry bicycles. Instead of lifting them over your head onto the rooftop, install a hitch mount rack or a strap-on trunk rack.

Trucks:

Open bed trucks allow another option for carrying the gear of your choice. Yakima and Thule manufacture systems that clamp onto the bed rails to mimic rooftop applications.
