Description
The Tune-Up service is priced at $175, with an additional $25 for e-bikes, and the average total with parts ranges from $250 to $400.
This service breathes new life into a bike that needs commonly worn parts replaced in order to perform at its full potential.
It includes everything from the Safety Service and is ideal for bikes that require more in-depth repairs, covering labor for replacing high-wear components, improving shifting and braking, addressing worn-out tires, and correcting wheels or parts that have drifted out of spec.
The Tune-Up includes a bike wash, firmware update, marking seat height and greasing the seatpost, cleaning the drivetrain on the bike, inspecting the bike and tires for wear and damage, removing wheels, adjusting hubs without greasing, securing the freewheel or cassette, truing wheels and brake rotors, reinstalling wheels, inflating tires to proper PSI, lubricating cables, the chain, derailleurs, pivots, and bolts, adjusting brake calipers and pads, aligning the derailleur hanger, adjusting derailleurs and headset, securing or torquing all fasteners and pedals, and completing a full test ride.
Installation of chains, tire sealant, brake pads, bar tape, cassettes, tires and tubes, rotors, and cables or housing is included. Available add-ons include complex internal cable housing for $15 and spoke replacement for $15 on the front wheel or $25 on the rear wheel.
